The upcoming Tata Sierra will focus heavily on comfort and innovation. According to reports, Tata Motors will introduce the Sierra with two seating layouts, a standard 5-seater and a more premium 4-seater lounge-style configuration. Tata Sierra Engine and Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the Tata Sierra is expected to come with three engine options — a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel. At least one of these will be offered with an automatic transmission. The electric version, Tata Sierra EV, will be built on a new platform and is expected to come in both single-motor front-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions.
The AWD capability will be a segment-first feature among electric SUVs in this category. Another highlight will be the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) bi-directional charging feature, which user will get charge external devices using the car’s battery, ideal for outdoor activities or power outages.
