2026 Honda Jazz Facelift Unveiled in China with New Colours

The Honda Jazz has always been a perfect hatchback for city driving due to its compact size, smooth handling, and dependable performance. It is sold in several international markets including Europe, Japan, China, South Africa, and New Zealand, while in some regions it is known as the Honda Fit. With the launch of the 2026 Honda Jazz Facelift in China, Honda has refreshed this popular hatchback with updated styling, improved interior features, new colour options, and attractive pricing to stay competitive in the evolving market.

2026 Honda Jazz Facelift What’s New?

The updated Honda Jazz facelift is positioned to take on entry-level electric vehicles in China such as the BYD Seagull and Geely Xingyuan. Despite the growing demand for electric cars, Honda believes that many buyers still prefer a reliable petrol-powered hatchback, especially one that offers practicality, comfort, and value for money.

In terms of design, the 2026 Honda Jazz facelift receives noticeable exterior updates that give it a more modern and bold appearance. The car now features a new front grille, split-style front headlights, and a large black front bumper that adds a sporty touch. Honda has also equipped the facelifted Jazz with 15-inch alloy wheels, which improve its overall road presence while keeping the design simple and urban-friendly.

2026 Honda Jazz Facelift Interior

Inside the cabin, the Honda Jazz facelift gets meaningful updates focused on everyday usability. The highlight of the interior is a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, paired with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster that displays driving information clearly. As this is an entry-level model, Honda has kept things minimal by offering a two-speaker audio system. The overall interior layout remains clean, practical, and easy to use, making it suitable for daily city commuting.

2026 Honda Jazz Facelift Engine

Powering the 2026 Honda Jazz, also known as the Honda Fit in China, is the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that was available earlier. This engine produces 122 hp of power and 145 Nm of torque and is paired with a CVT automatic transmission. The engine is known for its smooth performance and reliability, making it ideal for urban driving. While the Honda Fit is available with a hybrid powertrain in markets such as Japan and Europe, Honda has not introduced the hybrid option in China, and the facelifted model continues with the petrol-only setup.

2026 Honda Jazz Facelift Dynamic Blue Color

Honda has also introduced three new and attractive colour options with the 2026 Jazz facelift. The newly added shades include Dynamic Blue, Fiery Yellow, and Starry Night White. These colours add freshness to the lineup and help the Honda Jazz stand out in the competitive hatchback segment.

In terms of pricing, the GAC Honda Fit facelift has been launched at a very competitive price in China. The starting price is set at CNY 66,800, which is approximately Rs 8.67 lakh. This makes it around CNY 31,000, or nearly Rs 4 lakh, cheaper than the Dongfeng Honda Life. This aggressive pricing strategy strengthens the Jazz’s position as a value-for-money hatchback in the Chinese market.
