Chinese auto manufacturer BYD has launched the new base variant of the BYD Sealion 7 with a starting price of Rs 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. BYD named this new variant a Dynamic. This is the premium electric SUV by BYD. It competes with the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX1 LWB, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic – What’s New in the New Base Variant?
The new Sealion 7 Dynamic is packed with a 71.8 kWh battery pack, which is paired with a single electric motor along with an RWD (rear-wheel-drive) setup. It produces 228 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. BYD claims that on a single charge, it will go up to 520 km. It goes from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.3 seconds.
The new BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic comes with 4 interesting colours, such as Atlantis Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White, and Shark Grey. In this Sealion 7 Dynamic, you get premium features like a rotating touchscreen infotainment system and a panoramic glass roof. BYD is also offering a 7kW complimentary home charger with installation, 10 years of roadside assistance, and a 10-year/1.5 lakh km extended warranty on the battery.
