The Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift is all set to be launched officially on 5th September. This Baleno facelift will come with several upgrades. The biggest updates of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift are the new engine and gearbox setup and in the Interior.
2026 Maruti Baleno Facelift – What’s New?
Now, the 2026 Baleno facelift will get the same engine as the Maruti Swift comes with, the Z-series, 3-cylinder petrol engine, and the same powertrains will be offered in the CNG variant as well, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the biggest upgrade is the Baleno facelift, which will get the CNG-AMT combination for the first time ever in a Maruti car.
In terms of exterior design, there is not a massive update. The design will remain the same as before. It could get a new front grille, revised bumper, new alloy wheels, and new colour options. However, the dimensions and LED headlights and taillights will remain unchanged.

The Maruti Baleno facelift gets two new major updates in the interior, which are ventilated front seats and an expected ADAS feature. It will be the first premium segment hatchback car. Meanwhile, it will feature new dual-tone seats, which makes the interior more premium. The dashboard will remain unchanged.
The facelifted Baleno could be a little pricier than the current model. The Baleno facelift is competing with the Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20.
