Hyundai India created sales history in July 2026 by recording its best monthly sales performance ever. For the first time, Hyundai’s total sales (domestic and export combined) crossed 75,000 units. Driven by strong demand for cars in the country and record exports abroad, the company has made a strong start to the second quarter of this financial year.
Hyundai sold a total of 75,360 vehicles in July 2026, registering a 25.45% year-on-year (YoY) growth in sales.

Hyundai Domestic Sales
The demand for Hyundai cars has grown rapidly in the Indian market. In July 2026, the company sold 54,210 vehicles in the country. In the same month last year, this figure was 43,973 units. This represents an annual increase of approximately 23.28% in domestic sales. This is Hyundai’s highest July sales ever. Compared to June 2026, sales in July increased by approximately 36.77%.
Hyundai Creta and i20 Sales
In terms of model-wise sales, the Hyundai Creta continues to dominate. The Creta recorded its best sales of the year by selling 18,088 units in July. The company’s premium hatchback, the Hyundai i20, also recorded its best performance of the year by selling 6,738 units in July.
Hyundai Export Sales
Hyundai has also performed exceptionally well in exports. In July 2026, the company shipped 21,150 vehicles, representing a 31.37% year-on-year increase in exports.
