New Upcoming Mahindra SUVs Debut on August 15, Scorpio N Facelift Also Coming

Mahindra has unveiled its Vision 2027 strategy, introducing four SUV concepts—Vision.S, Vision.T, Vision.SXT, and Vision.X—that offer a preview of the company’s future SUV lineup. These concepts are based on the new NU_IQ modular multi-energy platform, which has been developed to support multiple powertrain options, including internal combustion engine (ICE) and electrified technologies.

The platform is also compatible with front-wheel-drive, all-wheel-drive, left-hand-drive, and right-hand-drive configurations, allowing it to cater to different global markets. According to Mahindra, the new architecture focuses on delivering a balanced SUV experience with command seating, engaging driving dynamics, a spacious cabin, class-leading boot space, lightweight construction, advanced safety features, and the brand’s next-generation NU_UX digital architecture.

The concepts also showcase the latest evolution of Mahindra’s HEARTCORE design language under the “Opposites Attract” theme, with production models expected to start arriving from 2027 in India and international markets.

At the same time, Mahindra is preparing to update its existing SUV range. The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to make its official debut in the next month with a number of styling and feature enhancements. The SUV is likely to retain the current 2.2-litre turbo diesel and 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine options, while receiving a redesigned front grille, updated headlamps, a revised front bumper, and newly designed larger alloy wheels.

The side profile is expected to remain largely unchanged. Inside the cabin, the facelift is likely to bring a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, a new digital instrument cluster, and a panoramic sunroof. Mahindra is also expected to extend the availability of its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to more variants, making the updated Scorpio N more feature-rich across the lineup.
