KTM RC 160 Launched in India at Rs 1.85 Lakh, Equipped with an LCD

KTM has finally launched its most affordable fully faired sports bike in India, the KTM RC 160, at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.85 lakh. This new motorcycle is aimed at beginners who want a proper sports bike experience without jumping straight to higher-capacity machines. With sharp styling, strong performance, and modern features, the KTM RC 160 brings racing DNA to the entry-level sports bike segment.

The KTM RC 160 design is inspired by its bigger siblings, the RC 200 and RC 390. It looks aggressive, sporty, and race ready. The sharp fairing, low-set clip-on handlebars, and aerodynamic body panels give it a true sports feel. KTM has clearly focused on offering a real track-style riding posture, which will appeal to young riders and enthusiasts. the KTM RC 160 has been launched only in a single colour scheme – black with white and orange graphics. We are expecting KTM will introduce more colour options soon.

The KTM RC 160 price in India is Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 6,000 more expensive than the KTM Duke 160 (TFT). While the Duke offers a naked streetfighter feel, the RC 160 delivers a true sports bike experience, making the price difference justified for riders who prefer a fully faired machine.

Powering the KTM RC 160 is a 164.2cc, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine. This high-revving motor produces 18.73 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 15.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, offering smooth gear shifts and strong acceleration.
