Benelli has officially unveiled its new middleweight adventure motorcycle, the Benelli TRK 602 X, in the global markets. This new adventure bike replaces the outgoing Benelli TRK 502 and arrives with a refreshed design, a more powerful engine, and updated hardware. With these upgrades, Benelli aims to strengthen its position in the competitive middleweight adventure touring segment.
Benelli TRK 602 X Engine
The highlight of the Benelli TRK 602 X is its 554cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is a revised and more powerful unit compared to the TRK 502. This engine produces 55 bhp of power and 54 Nm of torque, making it suitable for long-distance touring as well as light off-road riding. Benelli has updated the airbox, exhaust system, and added a 270-degree crankshaft, which the company claims improves mid-range performance and offers a smoother riding experience. These changes make the TRK 602 X more refined and responsive, especially during highway cruising.

Benelli TRK 602 X Specifications
The Benelli TRK 602 X is built on a trellis frame chassis that now gets a new tubular front section for better front-end support. Benelli has also used a lighter sub-frame, which helps in improving balance and handling. The bike offers a seat height of 825 mm, making it accessible for most riders in the adventure touring category.
Suspension duties are handled by 43mm upside-down front forks with 140mm of travel, while the rear gets an aluminium swingarm paired with a fully adjustable monoshock, offering 173mm of suspension travel. This setup is designed to handle rough roads and long touring journeys with ease.

Braking, Wheels, and Safety Features
For braking, the Benelli TRK 602 X comes equipped with twin 320mm front disc brakes and a 260mm rear disc, providing strong stopping power. Safety is enhanced with switchable dual-channel ABS, which is a useful feature for adventure riders who occasionally venture off-road. The motorcycle rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked aluminium wheels, making it suitable for mixed terrain riding.

India Launch and Additional Features
The Benelli TRK 602 X has a kerb weight of 235 kg, which is slightly heavy for its engine size. However, this weight helps in maintaining stability on highways. On the positive side, the bike gets a 20-litre fuel tank, making it ideal for long-distance touring without frequent fuel stops.
In terms of features, Benelli has equipped the TRK 602 X with hand guards with integrated indicators, a USB charging socket, centre stand, engine protection bars, and an aluminium sump guard as standard. Additionally, buyers can opt for accessories like aluminium panniers, a top box, heated grips, and even a heated seat, further enhancing its touring capability.
Benelli has confirmed that the TRK 602 X will be launched in Europe and other international markets in the coming months. However, as of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the India launch of this adventure motorcycle.
