Maruti Suzuki Starts Exports of Victoris SUV in Global Market

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has taken a big step in strengthening its global presence by officially starting exports of its new SUV, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, to international markets. This move highlights India’s growing role as a global manufacturing hub and shows Maruti Suzuki’s confidence in its Made-in-India products.

The first export shipment of the Victoris SUV included over 450 units, which were shipped from Mundra and Pipavav ports in India. These SUVs are being sent to several global regions, including America, Africa, and Middle Eastern countries. In overseas markets, the Victoris will be sold under a different name, called “Across”, to suit international branding strategies.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris Global Export Plan

Maruti Suzuki has announced an export plan for the Victoris SUV. The company aims to export this SUV to more than 100 countries and regions across the world. This clearly shows Maruti Suzuki’s long-term vision to expand its footprint beyond India and compete strongly in the global SUV market.

One of the biggest strengths of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is its top-level safety performance. The SUV has received a five-star safety rating from both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP, making it one of the safest vehicles produced by the brand. This high safety rating plays a crucial role in global markets, especially in regions where buyers strongly value vehicle safety.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris was officially launched in India in September 2025. Since its launch, the SUV has received positive feedback for its strong build quality, modern design, and safety-focused approach. Adding to its success, the Victoris was also showcased at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, one of the most important automotive events in the world. This global showcase helped Maruti Suzuki present its engineering capabilities to an international audience.

The Victoris achieved another major milestone by winning the prestigious Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) 2026 award. This award further proves the SUV’s overall excellence in design, safety, value, and performance. With the export of the Victoris SUV, Maruti Suzuki continues to promote the “Made in India” initiative on a global scale.
