Kia India has achieved a major milestone as the Kia Sonet crosses over 5 lakh unit sales since its launch. This impressive achievement highlights the strong demand and popularity of the Sonet in the Indian compact SUV segment. Along with domestic success, Kia has also exported over 1 lakh units of the Sonet to nearly 70 global markets, proving the global appeal of this India-made SUV.

Kia Sonet Sales Milestone Explain

According to Kia India, the Sonet alone contributes around 35 percent of Kia India’s total domestic sales volume. This clearly shows how important the Sonet is for the brand’s growth in India. The combination of stylish design, modern features, and competitive pricing has helped the Kia Sonet become one of the most preferred compact SUVs in the country.

Out of the total 5 lakh units sold, more than 1 lakh Kia Sonet units have been exported to international markets. These exports cover regions such as the Middle East and Africa, Central and South America, Mexico, and APAC markets. This strong export performance reinforces global confidence in India-made Kia vehicles and showcases India as a key manufacturing hub for the brand.

The Kia Sonet price in India starts at Rs. 7.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and goes up to Rs. 13.65 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end model.
