Ather Energy has teased its new upcoming EL-platform based electric scooter. In the teaser, we can clearly see the new Ather electric scooter’s design and styling. The scooter is confirmed to make its India debut on August 29 at Ather Community Day 2026. It features a clean and minimalist design.
While Ather has remained tight-lipped about the scooter’s specifications, previously spotted test mules have revealed some of its hardware. The upcoming model is expected to ride on a 14-inch front and 12-inch rear alloy wheel combination, with braking duties handled by a front disc and rear drum brake setup. The production version is also expected to feature a 7-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and connected features.
The all-new EL platform has been designed to accommodate battery packs ranging from 2kWh to 5kWh, allowing Ather to cater to a wider range of customer requirements across different price points.
The upcoming EL-platform based scooter is expected to be Ather’s most affordable offering yet, with an estimated price of Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
