Skoda Kushaq Facelift Unveiled – Engine, Features and Booking Open

Skoda has officially unveiled the all-new Skoda Kushaq Facelift in India, bringing a fresh design, advanced features, and improved transmission options to its popular compact SUV. The latest update makes the Kushaq more premium, more tech-loaded, and better suited for Indian road conditions. Bookings for the Skoda Kushaq Facelift are now open at authorised dealerships, and the SUV is expected to be on road by March 2026.

The Skoda Kushaq Facelift exterior has been updated to give it a bolder and more modern look. It now features a redesigned front grille with integrated LED headlights, which enhances road presence and visibility. At the rear, Skoda has added a new Skoda name badge along with illuminated tail lights, giving the SUV a premium and sporty appeal. The facelift also introduces new colour options including Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, Deep Black and these are the new colours of Skoda Kushaq facelift Steel Grey, Cherry Red and Shimla Green.

Inside the cabin, the Kushaq Facelift interior gets major upgrades focused on comfort and technology. The highlight is the new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which now supports the Google Gemini AI assistant for smarter voice commands and connected features. It also gets a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, making driving information clearer and more modern.

Rear seat comfort has been improved with a massage function, which is a rare feature in this segment. Other interior features include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, 6-way powered and ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, front parking sensors, a wireless charger, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift Engine and New Automatic Gearbox

Under the hood, the Skoda Kushaq Facelift engine options remain reliable but get an important upgrade. The SUV is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is now available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a new 8-speed automatic transmission. This new automatic gearbox promises smoother performance and better driving comfort.

Higher variants of the Kushaq Facelift come with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) gearbox, offering stronger performance for enthusiasts. Additionally, Skoda has equipped the facelifted Kushaq with disc brakes on all four wheels, improving braking performance and safety.

Safety remains a key focus in the Skoda Kushaq Facelift. The SUV comes with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill hold assist, rain-sensing wipers, and an auto-dimming IRVM. These features make the Kushaq a safer choice for both city driving and highway journeys.

Booking and Expected Launch

Skoda has confirmed that Kushaq Facelift bookings are open across India. Interested buyers can book the SUV at their nearest Skoda dealership. The company expects the Skoda Kushaq Facelift to be on road by March 2026, making it one of the most awaited compact SUVs this year.
