Mahindra:
Mahindra emerged as the second-largest carmaker in India in 2025, driven by surging demand for its SUVs. Models like Scorpio-N, Thar, and XUV700 played a crucial role in boosting its market share year-on-year.
Tata Motors:
Tata Motors secured the third spot despite a slight dip in market share, supported by its diverse lineup of ICE and electric vehicles. Popular models such as Nexon, Punch, and Tiago EV continued to perform well.
Hyundai:
Hyundai slipped to fourth position in 2025 as competition intensified in the mid-size and compact SUV segments. However, strong sales of Creta, Venue, and Verna helped maintain a solid presence.
Toyota:
Toyota registered steady growth in 2025, improving its market share thanks to strong hybrid offerings. The Innova Hycross, Fortuner, and Urban Cruiser Hyryder remained key contributors.
Kia:
Kia maintained stable performance in 2025 with consistent demand for its feature-rich SUVs and MPVs. Models like Seltos, Sonet, and Carens continued to attract Indian buyers.
Skoda Volkswagen:
The Skoda Volkswagen Group improved its market share in 2025, backed by newer models and refreshed lineups. Vehicles such as the Skoda Slavia and VW Virtus strengthened the group’s position.
MG Motor:
