The upcoming KTM 790 Duke has been spotted testing on public roads abroad. KTM seems to be preparing a refreshed version of the 790 Duke with noticeable design and feature updates, while keeping its powerful engine setup unchanged. This new sighting clearly hints that KTM is getting closer to an official reveal.
Upcoming KTM 790 Duke Spotted What’s New?
From the leaked spy images, the upcoming KTM 790 Duke appears to receive a heavily revised design. The front section looks sharper and more aggressive, taking strong inspiration from its bigger siblings, the KTM 990 Duke and the flagship 1390 Super Duke R. The updated headlamp design and muscular stance give the motorcycle a bold streetfighter look.

One of the major highlights seen during testing is the use of WP brake calipers on both wheels. This suggests improved braking performance and better control, especially for spirited riding. KTM is known for offering premium hardware in its Duke lineup, and this update further strengthens the 790 Duke’s position in the middleweight naked bike segment.

Apart from the design and hardware changes, the engine is expected to remain the same as the current-generation model. The existing KTM 790 Duke is powered by a 799cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 105 bhp of power and 87 Nm of torque.

Although KTM has not officially confirmed a launch timeline yet, the frequent road testing indicates that the updated 790 Duke could be unveiled in the coming months. Once launched, it is expected to compete with rivals like the Yamaha MT-09, Kawasaki Z900, and Triumph Street Triple in global markets.
