The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Honda has officially revealed the 2026 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L for global markets, bringing a fresh visual update to its iconic adventure motorcycle. introduced new colours and graphics while keeping the mechanical setup unchanged. This approach ensures that the Africa Twin continues to deliver the same trusted performance with a refreshed and modern appearance.
2026 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L What’s New?
The 2026 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L is available in three variants, designed to suit different riding needs. The standard model and the electronic suspension variant are offered in Grand Prix Red, Matt Ballistic Black Metallic, and Pearl Glare White. Among these, the Pearl Glare White shade stands out with its golden wheels, adding a premium and sporty look to the motorcycle.

The electronic suspension variant comes equipped with Showa’s electronically adjustable suspension, which automatically optimises damping according to road and riding conditions. This system improves comfort, stability, and control, making the bike suitable for long highway rides as well as challenging off-road trails.
The Adventure Sports variant of the Africa Twin CRF1100L is available in 3 attractive colour options, Matt Iridium Gray Metallic and Pearl Glare White. This version features iconic HRC Tricolore graphics, giving it a strong rally-inspired identity and reinforcing its adventure-focused character.

Powering the 2026 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L is a 1,084cc parallel-twin engine that produces 100.5 bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque. The engine is well known for its smooth power delivery, strong mid-range performance, and excellent touring capability. It is designed to handle a wide range of riding conditions, from city roads and highways to rough terrain and off-road routes.
Honda continues to offer two transmission options with the Africa Twin CRF1100L. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox and Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The DCT option allows clutch-free gear changes, making riding more convenient during traffic and long-distance touring, while the manual gearbox offers a more traditional and engaging riding experience.
The Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L was previously available in India, but the company quietly discontinued the model due to the introduction of BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. At present, Honda has not announced any plans regarding the reintroduction of the Africa Twin in the Indian market.
