The Bajaj Chetak 3001 is a new electric scooter launched in India at a price of Rs 99,500 (ex-showroom). It is designed for everyday city commuting and offers a good balance of performance, range, and modern features. This electric scooter uses a 3.0kWh floorboard-mounted battery pack and delivers a claimed IDC range of 127 kilometres on a full charge. Charging the Bajaj Chetak 3001 from 0 to 80 percent takes around 3 hours and 50 minutes using the supplied 750W charger, making it convenient for daily use.
In terms of performance, the scooter has a top speed of 63 kmph, which is suitable for urban roads. It also comes with two ride modes – Eco and Sports, allowing riders to choose between better range or quicker acceleration. Additional features include Hill Hold, sequential indicators, and a colour LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity.
The Bajaj Chetak 3001 is offered in a total of five colour options, Racing Red, Brooklyn Black, Lime Yellow, Cyber White and Azure Blue giving buyers multiple choices. With its practical range, useful features, and competitive pricing, the Chetak 3001 is a strong option in the electric scooter segment.
