Speed Twin 1200 New Frame and Updated Suspension Setup
One of the biggest updates in the new Triumph Speed Twin 1200 is the new frame. The test model clearly shows changes in the chassis design, which may improve stability and handling. A revised frame usually means better ride quality, sharper cornering, and more confidence at high speeds.
Another important change is the addition of a new link-type monoshock at the rear. This is a major upgrade compared to the older setup. A link-type monoshock system helps in better weight distribution and smoother suspension movement. Riders can expect improved comfort on rough roads and better performance during aggressive riding.

Speed Twin 1200 Engine Performance
While the chassis gets updates, the engine performance is expected to remain unchanged. The current Triumph Speed Twin 1200 comes with a 1200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, produce 103.5 bhp of power and 112 Nm of torque.
The updated Triumph Speed Twin 1200 continues with a 17-inch front and rear alloy wheel setup. This setup is ideal for sporty handling and stable road grip. The bike is equipped with Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres, which are performance-focused tyres known for excellent grip and cornering stability. These tyres enhance the bike’s sporty character and give riders better confidence during high-speed rides.
Triumph has retained the premium braking system in the updated model. The braking setup includes, 320mm dual-disc brakes at the front, Brembo callipers and Single-disc brake at the rear Currently, the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 is priced at Rs. 13.83 lakh (ex-showroom). With the new updates like the revised frame and link-type monoshock, the upcoming version may see a slight price adjustment.
