2027 Kawasaki Z500 and Z500 SE Get New Fresh Vibrant Colour

The Kawasaki Z500 and Z500 SE is updated for 2027 to get fresh colours, while the Z500 and Z500 SE keep all the existing engine and powertrains as it is. There is no upgrade in it. Only the big update of the 2027 Z500 and Z500 SE is the new fresh colours: Ebony / Metallic Carbon Gray for Z500 and Candy Persimmon Red / Metallic Carbon Gray or Pearl Blizzard White / Candy Lime Green Type 3 / Ebony for Z500 SE.

Although the engine remains unchanged, it gets a 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which produces 45 bhp and 42.6 Nm of torque. This is tuned for the mid-range performance. The Z500 model gets a 785 mm low-height seat, which is good for short riders as well, and 145 mm ground clearance.

Although this Kawasaki Z500 is not available in India, its sibling, the Kawasaki Ninja 500, has the same 451cc parallel-twin engine displacement, and currently it is priced at Rs 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

This bike will compete with the KTM 390 Duke R which price at Rs. 3.44 lakh (ex-showroom) comes with 398.63 cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine produce around 45 bhp and 39 Nm of torque and Triumph Speed 400 priced at Rs. 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom) its cheaper but it has 349 cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine produce around 36 bhp and 32 Nm torque, but the Z500 has one advantage: it comes with a parallel-twin cylinder, while the other comes with a single-cylinder engine.
