From Global Pik Up Concept to Production Model
In 2023, Mahindra revealed the Scorpio N-based Global Pik Up concept. Even though it was shown as a concept vehicle, it already gave a clear idea of what the production version would look like. The concept highlighted Strong and muscular exterior design, Modern and premium interiors, Advanced 4×4 system and Powerful diesel engine setup Now, Mahindra has confirmed that the production version will arrive in 2027. This is not just a concept anymore – it is an official upcoming Mahindra pickup truck.
The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup Truck, scheduled for launch in 2027, will be based on the powerful and popular Scorpio N platform. It will be powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, along with a capable 4WD system designed for both off-road adventures and heavy-duty usage. Reports also suggest that Mahindra may introduce a petrol engine option, giving buyers more flexibility in engine choice.

The pickup truck will first debut in key global markets such as Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, before making its way to India. Additionally, Mahindra has confirmed that Left-Hand Drive (LHD) production will begin in 2028, strengthening its global expansion strategy. Once launched, the Scorpio N-based pickup truck will directly compete with established rivals like the Toyota Hilux, aiming to offer a strong combination of performance, features, and competitive pricing in the lifestyle pickup truck segment.
