Chinese carmaker Chery Automobile is preparing to enter the Indian market through a partnership with JSW Motors. As part of its India plans, the company has patented several products from its sub-brands, including Tiggo, Lepas, Arrizo, Fulwin, Jetour, Exeed, and QQ. Along with these, Jaecoo and iCAUR have also been spotted, and both brands are already confirmed for an India launch.
Chery QQ Qurio Concept Patented
The QQ sub-brand had already patented the QQ3 EV in India, and now Chery has also patented the QQ Qurio (Stay Curious) Concept. The QQ Qurio was first showcased at Auto China 2025, and the patented version remains almost unchanged from the concept displayed at the event. Although it was earlier reported that the model would enter production in 2026, there has been no further development so far. It is also confirmed that the QQ Qurio and the QQ3 are two completely different models.

The Chery QQ Qurio Concept has won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for its unique design. According to the available information, the QQ Qurio will be more than four metres long, placing it in the hot hatch category in India. However, despite its styling and size, it is not expected to offer hot hatch-like performance.
Chery QQ3 EV Features
The already patented Chery QQ3 EV is equipped with a 15.6-inch infotainment system, Level 2 ADAS, and LFP battery packs with 29.5kWh and 41.25kWh capacities. It produces up to 121bhp of power and 115Nm of torque. The electric hatchback also comes with four disc brakes, ABS, EBD, and traction control, making it a feature-loaded offering that is completely different from the newly patented QQ Qurio Concept.
