Hyundai i20 Price Slashed, New Price Now Starts at Rs. 5.99 Lakh

Hyundai Motors has surprised buyers by reducing the price of its popular premium hatchback, the Hyundai i20. With this latest update, the Hyundai i20 price in India now starts at just Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it much more affordable than before.

The price cut comes with the reintroduction of the Era trim, which has helped bring down the starting price by around Rs 74,000 compared to earlier entry-level options. Along with this, Hyundai has also reduced prices of the mid-level Magna Executive and Magna variants, adding more value to the lineup.

Along with the Era trim, Hyundai has also revised the pricing of its popular mid-level variants. The Magna Executive MT and Magna MT have both received a price cut of Rs 13,000, making them more competitive in the premium hatchback segment.

The Hyundai i20 Era variant has made a comeback and is now the most affordable trim in the range. Despite being the base model, it comes with several useful and safety-focused features, making it a strong option for budget-conscious buyers. The i20 Era trim now offers six airbags, which is impressive for an entry-level variant. It also gets a digital instrument cluster, telescopic steering adjustment, and a Type-C charging port. Hyundai has also added front and rear skid plates, along with body-coloured ORVMs and door handles, giving the car a neat and modern look.
